Overview
Prague is one of the Central European capitals that came through the Second World War largely undamaged, so Gothic, Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings stand side by side on the same street. Spread across both banks of the Vltava, the city is on an ideal scale for exploring on foot.
Guided tours starting at Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathedral and continuing through the Baroque lanes of Malá Strana to Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock on Old Town Square are included, together with a walk through the Jewish Quarter. You stay in a 4★ hotel near the metro with breakfast.
The fourth day is free; if you wish, join an optional day trip to fairy-tale Český Krumlov on a bend of the Vltava, the spa town of Karlovy Vary or Vienna. On December dates the city takes on a special atmosphere with its winter markets and lights.

Itinerary
Day 1 Istanbul – Prague
We meet our guide at Sabiha Gökçen Airport and take a morning AJet flight to Prague. On arrival our panoramic tour takes in Wenceslas Square, overlooked by the National Museum, the Gothic Powder Tower and the Art Nouveau Municipal House. We then check in to our hotel.
Day 2 Prague Castle – Charles Bridge – Old Town
In the Prague Castle complex on Hradčany hill we explore St Vitus Cathedral and the castle courtyards. Descending through the Baroque lanes of Malá Strana, we cross the Vltava on the statue-lined Charles Bridge. On Old Town Square we see Týn Church and watch the Astronomical Clock, whose first mechanism was installed in 1410, come to life on the hour.
Day 3 Jewish Quarter and the Vltava
In the morning we explore Josefov, visiting the area around the Old-New Synagogue, one of Europe's oldest synagogues still in use, the Spanish Synagogue and the Old Jewish Cemetery, and stroll elegant Pařížská Street. The afternoon is free for Kampa Island, the Lennon Wall or Petřín Hill. In the evening you can join an optional dinner cruise on the Vltava.
Day 4 Free Day and Optional Excursions
The day is yours. Optional tours let you see the castle and old town of UNESCO-listed Český Krumlov on a bend of the Vltava, the colonnaded spa town of Karlovy Vary, or Vienna with St Stephen's Cathedral and Schönbrunn Palace. For those staying in Prague, Vyšehrad fortress and Na Příkopě street are good options.
Day 5 Prague – Istanbul
After breakfast there is free time for last-minute shopping and a coffee. We transfer to Václav Havel Airport and fly back to Istanbul with AJet at the end of our tour.

You stay in a comfortable 4★ hotel with easy metro or tram access to the historic centre, with breakfast. The hotel name is confirmed 7 days before departure.

Visa Information Visa Required
Czechia is a Schengen country, so Turkish citizens holding ordinary passports need a Schengen visa. The optional trip to Vienna is also within the Schengen area and needs no additional visa. Your passport must have been issued within the last 10 years and be valid for at least 3 months (preferably 6 months) after the return date. We recommend applying at least 6–8 weeks before departure; current requirements are confirmed before travel.
Important Information
- The Czech currency is the koruna (CZK); euros are not accepted everywhere, but card payments are widespread.
- On December and January dates temperatures can drop below freezing; non-slip shoes and warm clothing are recommended.
- Optional day trips run with a minimum of 15 participants; the Vienna trip involves about 4 hours of travel each way.
- The tour operates with a minimum of 15 participants; if this is not reached you will be informed 10 days before departure.
- The child price (ages 2–12) applies when sharing a room with two adults on an extra bed.

Which day trips can I join?
We offer three optional choices for the fourth day: Český Krumlov, Karlovy Vary and Vienna. We recommend adding one when you book to secure a place; trips run with a minimum of 15 participants.
What is New Year like on the 29 December departure?
You are in Prague on the evening of 31 December, which is free. The area around Old Town Square gets very crowded that night, while the winter market usually stays open until early January.
Can I pay in euros in Prague?
Although some tourist businesses accept euros, the local currency is the Czech koruna and exchange rates offered are usually poor. Card payments are widespread, so a small amount of koruna is enough for minor purchases.
