Overview
This route lets you experience two very different rhythms of Southeast Asia back to back. First comes Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's multicultural capital, where colonial-era buildings, Chinese temples and Indian neighbourhoods sit among the skyscrapers. Then a short flight takes us to Bali, where we settle into the island's gentler pace for four nights.
In Kuala Lumpur we see the Petronas Twin Towers, Merdeka Square and the Batu Caves set in limestone hills. In Bali we explore Ubud's rice terraces and Monkey Forest, watch the sunset at Tanah Lot, perched on a rock in the sea, and see the Kecak dance at Uluwatu; the rest of the time is yours for the beach and pool.
We fly long-haul with Qatar Airways and take AirAsia between Kuala Lumpur and Bali. A Turkish-speaking tour leader accompanies you from Istanbul, and at both stops we stay in 4★ hotels with breakfast.

Itinerary
Day 1 Istanbul – Doha – Kuala Lumpur
We meet our tour leader at Istanbul Airport and fly with Qatar Airways to Kuala Lumpur via Doha. Including the connection, the journey takes around 14 hours and we spend the night on board.
Day 2 Arrival in Kuala Lumpur – City Tour
Our local guide meets us at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and a drive of about an hour takes us into the city. On our panoramic city tour we see Merdeka Square, where the flag of independent Malaya was first raised in 1957, and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, then stop for photos in front of the Petronas Twin Towers. After checking in, the evening is free.
Day 3 Batu Caves – Bukit Bintang
After breakfast we head to the Batu Caves in the limestone hills north of the city. Passing the giant golden statue of Lord Murugan at the entrance, we climb 272 colourful steps to the main cave and its Hindu temple. Free afternoon in Bukit Bintang, known for its shopping streets and street food.
Day 4 Kuala Lumpur – Bali
After breakfast we transfer to the airport for an AirAsia flight of about 3 hours to Bali. In Denpasar we meet our local guide and check in to our hotel on the south coast. Free evening to watch the sunset on the beach.
Day 5 Ubud – Tegallalang – Tanah Lot
After breakfast we travel inland to Ubud, the island's centre of arts and culture. We explore the stepped rice terraces of Tegallalang and the Sacred Monkey Forest, with free time at the Ubud art market. In the afternoon we cross to the west coast to watch the sunset at Tanah Lot, rising from a rock in the sea, before returning to our hotel.
Day 6 Uluwatu Temple – Kecak Dance
Free morning at the hotel or on the beach. In the afternoon we head to Uluwatu temple on the Bukit Peninsula and walk the clifftop path above the ocean. After watching the Kecak dance on an open-air stage at sunset, you can join an optional seafood dinner on Jimbaran beach.
Day 7 Free Day – Nusa Penida (optional)
A free day. Those who wish can join an optional speedboat trip to Nusa Penida to see Kelingking Beach and the natural rock arch of Broken Beach. Other guests can enjoy the beach, the pool or a traditional Balinese massage.
Day 8 Bali – Doha – Istanbul
After breakfast we check out and transfer to the airport. We fly back to Istanbul with Qatar Airways via Doha, where our tour comes to an end.

You stay in 4★ hotels with breakfast: in central Kuala Lumpur and close to the beach on Bali's south coast. Hotel names are confirmed 7 days before departure.

Transport
Flights from Istanbul to Kuala Lumpur and from Denpasar to Istanbul are with Qatar Airways via Doha, and the Kuala Lumpur – Bali flight is with AirAsia. An air-conditioned private vehicle is used for transfers and tours.

Visa Information Visa on Arrival
Malaysia does not require a visa from Turkish citizens holding ordinary passports for short tourist visits, but the online Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) must be completed in the days before arrival. For Indonesia (Bali), you can obtain a visa on arrival or apply online for an e-VoA before travelling; the visa fee and Bali tourist levy are not included. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date. As requirements can change, current conditions are confirmed before departure.
Important Information
- AirAsia's baggage rules apply on the Kuala Lumpur – Bali flight, and cabin baggage weight limits are strictly enforced.
- Shoulders and knees must be covered at the Batu Caves and Balinese temples; cover-ups are available at the entrances.
- The Petronas Twin Towers are included as an exterior photo stop; tickets for the observation deck should be booked in advance.
- On Nyepi, Bali's Day of Silence, services across the island, including the airport, stop for 24 hours; if a departure coincides with it, the programme is adjusted accordingly.
- The tour operates with a minimum of 12 participants; the child price (ages 2–12) applies when sharing a room with two adults on an extra bed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to apply for anything before visiting Malaysia?
No visa is needed, but you must complete the online Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) in the days before arrival. It is free and takes a few minutes, and our adviser will send a reminder before departure.
Do we go up the Petronas Towers?
The programme includes a photo stop in front of the towers. Guests who would like to visit the Skybridge and observation deck should book tickets in advance, as daily numbers are limited; our tour leader can help you plan the visit during free time.
What is the weather like on the May departure?
May marks the start of the dry season in Bali and is good for the beach. Kuala Lumpur is hot and humid all year, with occasional short afternoon showers.
