Overview
Among Indonesia's thousands of islands, Bali stands out for its distinctive Hindu culture, rice terraces in every shade of green and wave-battered clifftop coastline. We designed this programme so you can experience both sides of the island: first Ubud, the inland centre of arts and culture, then the sea and slower days on the southern coast.
In Ubud we visit the Tegallalang rice terraces, the Sacred Monkey Forest and Tirta Empul, known for its holy spring water. In a single day we see lakeside Ulun Danu Bratan and Tanah Lot rising from a rock in the sea, and at Uluwatu we watch the Kecak dance at sunset beside a clifftop temple. On free days you can join an optional trip to the island of Nusa Penida.
We fly with Qatar Airways via Doha. A Turkish-speaking tour leader accompanies you from Istanbul, and we stay with breakfast in a boutique-style hotel in Ubud and a 4★ hotel with pool on the south coast.

Itinerary
Day 1 Istanbul – Doha – Bali
We meet our tour leader at Istanbul Airport and fly with Qatar Airways to Bali via Doha. Including the connection, the journey takes around 16 hours and we spend the night on board.
Day 2 Arrival in Bali – Ubud
Our local guide meets us at Denpasar's Ngurah Rai Airport and a drive of about 1.5 hours takes us inland to Ubud. After checking in and resting, the evening is free in the streets around Ubud Palace. Those who wish can watch a traditional Balinese dance performance in the palace courtyard (optional).
Day 3 Ubud: Tegallalang – Tirta Empul – Monkey Forest
After breakfast we explore the rice terraces carved in steps into the valley slopes at Tegallalang, north of Ubud. We then visit Tirta Empul, whose history goes back to the 10th century, to see Balinese worshippers purify themselves in its holy spring water. In the afternoon we walk through the Sacred Monkey Forest and enjoy free time at the Ubud art market.
Day 4 Ulun Danu Bratan – Tanah Lot – South Coast
After breakfast we check out and head for the highlands. In the cool Bedugul area we visit Ulun Danu Bratan, which appears to float on Lake Bratan. In the afternoon we descend to the west coast to watch the sunset at Tanah Lot, perched on a rock in the sea, and in the evening check in to our hotel on the south coast.
Day 5 Free Day – Nusa Penida (optional)
A free day to relax by the pool or on the beach. Those who wish can join an optional speedboat trip to Nusa Penida to see the turquoise cove of Kelingking Beach and the natural rock arch of Broken Beach. Free evening.
Day 6 Uluwatu Temple – Kecak Dance
Free morning. In the afternoon we head to the southern tip of the Bukit Peninsula to visit Uluwatu temple, perched on the edge of a cliff some 70 metres above the ocean. At sunset we watch the Kecak dance, which tells scenes from the Ramayana epic, on an open-air stage. In the evening you can join an optional seafood dinner on Jimbaran beach.
Day 7 Free Day
The day is entirely yours. Relax on the beach, try a traditional Balinese massage or browse the boutiques and beach cafés of Seminyak. On our last evening in Bali, we recommend watching the sunset by the ocean.
Day 8 Bali – Doha – Istanbul
After breakfast we check out and transfer to the airport. We fly back to Istanbul with Qatar Airways via Doha, where our tour comes to an end.

You stay with breakfast in a boutique-style 4★ hotel surrounded by greenery in Ubud and a 4★ hotel with pool on the south coast. Hotel names are confirmed 7 days before departure.

Transport
Outbound and return flights are scheduled Qatar Airways services via Doha. An air-conditioned private vehicle is used for all transfers and tours on the island.

Visa Information Visa on Arrival
Turkish citizens holding ordinary passports can enter Indonesia with a visa on arrival or by applying online for an e-VoA before travelling; the visa fee is not included in the tour price. Foreign visitors to Bali also pay a one-off tourist levy. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the arrival date and have blank pages. As fees and requirements can change, current conditions are confirmed before departure.
Important Information
- Shoulders and knees must be covered when visiting temples; some temples provide a sarong at the entrance.
- Monkeys at the Sacred Monkey Forest and Uluwatu may grab glasses, hats and phones, so keep your belongings in a bag.
- Short tropical downpours are possible in Bali between November and March; the guide may change the order of tours depending on the weather.
- On Nyepi, Bali's Day of Silence, services across the island, including the airport, stop for 24 hours; if a departure coincides with it, the programme is adjusted accordingly.
- The tour operates with a minimum of 12 participants; the child price (ages 2–12) applies when sharing a room with two adults on an extra bed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a visa for Bali?
You can pay for a visa on arrival at the airport visa counter or apply online for an e-VoA through the official portal before departure. The Bali tourist levy can also be paid online or on arrival; our adviser shares the current fees before you travel.
What is the weather like on the semester break departure?
January falls in Bali's rainy season; days are warm, with short showers usually in the afternoon. The order of tours is adjusted flexibly to the weather, and we recommend packing a light rain jacket.
Is the Nusa Penida trip suitable for everyone?
The trip involves a speedboat crossing and short walks on steep paths to some viewpoints. It is not recommended for pregnant guests or those with back or neck problems, and boats may be cancelled when sea conditions are poor.
