Overview
In the Maldives each island is home to a single resort, which means most of your day is spent far from any crowd, with only the sound of the lagoon for company. You can step from your villa's deck straight into turquoise water and enjoy your morning coffee while fish drift by below.
We have designed the package so that everything runs smoothly from the first day of your honeymoon to the last evening: a direct flight to Malé, a seaplane or speedboat transfer depending on the resort's location, daily breakfast and dinner, a private romantic dinner on the beach and a honeymoon discount on spa treatments are all included.
The rest of the programme is entirely yours. Snorkel the house reef, join a sunset dolphin cruise or simply read in a hammock; you decide, and our adviser can help you plan any extra activities in advance.

Itinerary
Day 1 Istanbul – Malé
In the evening we depart from Istanbul Airport on a direct Turkish Airlines flight to the Maldives. The overnight flight takes about 8 hours, so there is time to rest on the way to the Indian Ocean.
Day 2 Malé – Seaplane – Island Resort
In the morning we land at Velana International Airport in Malé and meet the resort's representative. Depending on the resort's location, we cross the atolls by seaplane or speedboat to the island. After a welcome drink you settle into your overwater villa, and the day ends with a first swim in the lagoon and dinner.
Day 3 House Reef and Spa
After breakfast we explore the coral and tropical fish of the resort's house reef with a snorkel; equipment is available from the resort's water sports centre. You might spend the afternoon at the spa, enjoying a couples' massage with your honeymoon discount. Dinner is at the resort restaurant.
Day 4 A Romantic Evening on the Beach
Spend the day relaxing as you please on your villa deck and the white-sand beach. In the evening, in place of your usual half-board dinner, a private romantic dinner awaits at a torch-lit table set up on the sand.
Day 5 Dolphins at Sunset
After a free day, you can join an optional late-afternoon sunset cruise aboard a dhoni, the traditional Maldivian boat; this is a good time of day to spot pods of dolphins. A sandbank picnic or a visit to a local island are further optional choices.
Day 6 A Free Day on the Lagoon
Our last full day on the island is entirely yours. Glide across the lagoon by kayak or paddleboard, laze in a hammock or try an introductory dive at the dive centre. We watch the sunset from your villa deck before dinner.
Day 7 Island Resort – Malé – Istanbul
After breakfast we check out of the villa and return to Malé by seaplane or speedboat. From Velana International Airport we fly direct to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines, arriving in the evening at the end of your honeymoon package.

You stay in an overwater villa above the lagoon at a 5★ resort on an atoll island with its own reef and white-sand beach, on a half-board basis. The resort name and transfer type are confirmed at booking.

Outbound and return journeys are on Turkish Airlines' scheduled direct flights between Istanbul and Malé. The transfer between Malé and the resort is by seaplane or speedboat, depending on the island's distance.

Visa Information Visa on Arrival
The Maldives grants Turkish citizens holding ordinary passports a free 30-day tourist visa on arrival. A confirmed hotel booking and return ticket are required at entry, and we recommend that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival. Before travelling (usually within 96 hours of arrival) you must complete the online IMUGA traveller declaration. As requirements can change, current conditions are confirmed before departure.
Important Information
- Seaplanes fly in daylight only; after an evening arrival the transfer may be the next morning and an extra night in Malé may be needed.
- Seaplanes have baggage weight limits; the operator may charge for baggage above the allowance.
- Resorts usually ask for a marriage certificate issued within the last 6–12 months to apply honeymoon benefits.
- Villa check-in is usually from 14:00 and check-out by 12:00; early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.
- In the Maldives alcohol is served only at resorts; in Malé and on local islands clothing that covers shoulders and knees is advised.

Is the transfer by seaplane or speedboat?
It depends on how far the chosen resort is from Malé. Resorts on distant atolls are reached by seaplane and closer ones by speedboat; the transfer type is confirmed at booking.
Can we upgrade from half board to all inclusive?
Yes, you can switch to the resort's full-board or all-inclusive plans for a supplement. Our adviser will confirm the current price difference for your chosen date.
Do we need to get a visa in advance for the Maldives?
No, a 30-day tourist visa is issued free of charge on arrival. You only need to complete the online IMUGA traveller declaration before you travel, and we will guide you through it.
