Overview
This route brings together three of Egypt's best-known faces in a single week: the temples of Luxor, the pyramids of Cairo and the clear waters of the Red Sea, in a well-paced programme. The first days follow in the footsteps of the pharaohs; the last are for unwinding at an all-inclusive hotel in Hurghada.
We designed the programme to keep long road journeys to a minimum, flying from Luxor to Cairo and from Cairo to Hurghada. Entry to Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, the Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the Tutankhamun collection, is included; a dinner cruise on the Nile is optional.
A Turkish-speaking guide accompanies you on all the sightseeing days and can help arrange boat, snorkelling or desert trips during your time in Hurghada.

Itinerary
Day 1 Istanbul – Hurghada – Luxor
We meet at Sabiha Gökçen Airport and fly with Pegasus to Hurghada on the Red Sea. After visa formalities, our air-conditioned coach crosses the Eastern Desert to Luxor on the Nile. In the evening we visit Luxor Temple, at the heart of ancient Thebes, beautifully lit after dark, before dinner at our hotel.
Day 2 Valley of the Kings – Hatshepsut – Karnak – Cairo
Early in the morning we cross to the Nile's West Bank for a short stop at the Colossi of Memnon. In the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried in rock-cut tombs, we visit three tombs, then see the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. In the afternoon, back on the East Bank, we explore Karnak Temple and its 134-column Great Hypostyle Hall. In the evening we take a domestic flight to Cairo.
Day 3 Pyramids of Giza – Sphinx – Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast we see the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure on the Giza Plateau and photograph all three together from the panoramic viewpoint. After the Sphinx and Khafre's Valley Temple we continue to the neighbouring Grand Egyptian Museum, where the colossal statue of Ramesses II, the grand staircase and the Tutankhamun collection are the highlights. In the evening, those who wish can join a Nile dinner cruise with music.
Day 4 Saladin Citadel – Khan el-Khalili – Hurghada
In the morning we visit the Saladin Citadel, high above Cairo, and its Mosque of Muhammad Ali, inspired by Ottoman mosques, taking in views of the Sultan Hassan Mosque and the city from the terrace. Free time follows in Khan el-Khalili, a bazaar founded in the late 14th century. In the afternoon we fly to Hurghada and settle in to our all-inclusive hotel.
Day 5 Hurghada – The Red Sea
The day is entirely yours. Swim in the clear waters of the Red Sea from your hotel's private beach or snorkel over the coral reefs close to shore. A boat trip to Giftun Island with snorkelling stops can be arranged through our guide.
Day 6 Hurghada – Free Day
A day for the pool and beach at your all-inclusive hotel. In the afternoon, those who wish can join an optional desert trip with a quad-bike ride and a visit to a Bedouin village, watching the sunset over the dunes.
Day 7 Hurghada – Free Day
Our last full day is at leisure. In the late afternoon you might stroll among the cafés and restaurants of Hurghada Marina or pick up spices and souvenirs at the local market in El Dahar.
Day 8 Hurghada – Istanbul
After breakfast we check out and transfer to the airport in time for our flight. We return to Istanbul with Pegasus, where our tour ends.

You stay half board at a 4★ hotel near the Nile in Luxor, bed and breakfast at a 4★ hotel in Cairo, and all-inclusive at a 5★ hotel with a private beach in Hurghada. Hotel names are confirmed 7 days before departure.

Transport
Return flights between Istanbul and Hurghada are scheduled Pegasus services. We travel from Hurghada to Luxor by air-conditioned coach, then fly Luxor – Cairo and Cairo – Hurghada on domestic flights.

Visa Information Visa on Arrival
Egypt issues visas on arrival to Turkish citizens holding ordinary passports at airports in its tourist regions. On arrival at Hurghada Airport the visa is obtained before passport control for USD 25, paid in cash. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry and have at least 2 blank pages. As visa rules and fees can change, current requirements are confirmed before departure.
Important Information
- The Hurghada – Luxor journey takes about 4 hours; day one is a long travel day, with regular breaks along the way.
- Domestic flight times may change according to airline schedules; if so, the guide will adjust the order of visits while keeping the content the same.
- Visits to temples and tombs involve a fair amount of walking; we recommend comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen.
- Clothing covering shoulders and knees is required in mosques, and we suggest women carry a headscarf.
- The child price (ages 2–12) applies when sharing a room with two adults on an extra bed.

Can we go inside the pyramids?
Entry to the Giza Plateau is included. The pyramid interiors require a separate ticket with limited daily numbers, so our guide can help guests who wish to go inside with tickets.
How does the visa on arrival work?
When you land at Hurghada Airport, the visa sticker is bought for USD 25 in cash before passport control. Our transfer team assists you at this stage; we recommend carrying small US dollar notes.
What can I do during the Hurghada days?
As well as relaxing at your all-inclusive hotel, you can join optional excursions such as a boat and snorkelling trip to Giftun Island or a quad-bike desert safari. Our guide helps you plan and book these on arrival in Hurghada.
